Two teams of fourth graders from PS participated in the Regional KidWind competition today. Each team built a wind turbine and had the chance to test its power, present a presentation to a panel of judges, compete in an “instant challenge”, and complete a knowledge test.
Results:
Kings of the Wind: Zeke, Marek, Justus, Jayden
Most Improved Pink Joule award,
2nd place overall and will advance to the state competition held in Salina in April
KidWind Til the End: Scarlett, Baylyn, Chloe, Payal
100% on Knowledge Quiz (only team to ever do that in all age divisions)
3rd Place Overall
