Tremendous progress is being made at Washburn Rural North Middle School! We will be welcoming students in less than nine months.
MCP GROUP
Progress is soaring at the Auburn-Washburn USD 437 Washburn Rural North Middle School site! Our MCP Eye in the Sky captures a transformation in full swing—fresh asphalt, polished tennis courts, and unstoppable momentum as we push forward. In just a couple of weeks, we'll start installing floor coverings, bringing us one step closer to the finish line. It’s been thrilling to watch each phase come alive, and we're heading into the home stretch with incredible energy. Stay tuned for even more exciting milestones ahead!

Our 'MCP eye in the sky' has been busy the past couple of weeks in Topeka! Check out the incredible progress our team has been making on the Auburn-Washburn USD 437 Washburn Rural North Middle School! Shout out to our Superintendents Robert Loethen and Rebel Beatty, Project Manager Mike Maas, and Project Coordinator Keli Lee for their outstanding efforts! Auburn-Washburn USD 437
Construction of Washburn Rural North Middle School continues to progress as scheduled. Exterior brick work is now complete and installation of interior brick veneer has begun. Roofing, curb and gutter work, metal siding, and drywall is also underway. Situated at the northeast corner of 29th Street and Auburn Road, Washburn Rural North will open for the 2025-26 school year and will serve students in grades 6 through 8.
