Kansas Children's Discovery Center
Discovery Kindergarten Week two! Discovery Kindergarten is our free, fun program open to all incoming kindergarten students to help get kids ready for school. There are still four sessions this summer so get signed up at https://kansasdiscovery.org/kindergarten/!
This week’s camp was made possible by teachers from Auburn-Washburn USD 437, volunteers, Topeka Lions, and the Discovery Center Board of Trustees. A special thanks to Kansas Ballet! Discovery Kindergarten is free for all families thanks to financial support from Greater Topeka Partnership.

A nutritious meal can make a big difference in a student's day. Auburn-Washburn is committed to ensuring every student has access to healthy, balanced meals throughout the year.
Many families qualify for free or reduced-price meals based on household size and income. Eligibility guidelines change from year to year, so even if you haven't qualified before, it may be worth taking a few minutes to check.

Kindergarten Bootcamp is such an important first step for all incoming kindergarteners. This time will help them become familiar with our school, the kindergartner teachers and learn routines in the school setting. Beginning July 1, Auburn-Washburn's FREE Summer Meal Program will transition to a convenient grab-and-go format. Meals will be available Monday through Friday at Pauline Central Primary School. Please note the program will be closed on July 3 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
⏰ Pickup Time: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Each child who is present may receive both lunch for the current day and breakfast for the following morning during a single pickup. Meals no longer need to be consumed on site.
We look forward to continuing to serve our students and families throughout the summer!

🥞 Breakfast: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
🥪 Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
All meals will be served inside the Pauline Central cafeteria in a dine-in format.
