PC Canned Food Drive Update for Wednesday, March 26, 2025
For the second day in a row, 2nd grade is holding onto the lead in our canned food drive competition! Way to go!
But there’s still time for other grades to catch up—keep those donations coming! Remember, the grade with the most cans by the end of the week wins a popcorn and movie party!
All donations will go to Be Filled to help those in need. Thank you for your generosity, PC! Let’s keep making a difference! ❤️
Props to these awesome students whose name was drawn today! They hit it big in our school-wide Roar Buck drawing and got to enjoy some well-earned snacks with Mr. Carver, our fantastic school Social Worker.
Want to be a winner too? It’s easy! Just show respect, responsibility, and safety, and you’ll earn Roar Bucks in no time. Keep up the great work, Jaguars—who knows, you could be the next big winner!
Kindergarten enrollment is an exciting time in the life of a family! At Auburn-Washburn, the enrollment process begins with Kindergarten Roundup, an event designed to introduce families to the school and staff. All families are encouraged to attend Kindergarten Roundup to learn more about the year ahead.
This year, Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for
Friday, April 4, 2025. Please note that your child must turn five on or before August 31, 2025 in order to be eligible for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

Congratulations to our Roar Buck Winners!
These students were chosen in our school-wide drawing to enjoy Donuts with the Dean!
Students earn Roar Bucks by showing what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe every day. We are so proud of their hard work and great choices!

We are proud to celebrate three exceptional individuals from Pauline Central Primary School who were recognized by the Board of Education last night. They are third-grade student Aubree Quiring and staff members Linda Meredith and Izzy Fry.
Aubree Quiring received the 🌟Shining Star Student Award🌟 for being a kind, hardworking, and compassionate role model who carries a smile wherever she goes. Principal Debbie Williams shared, "She exemplifies our school’s values by consistently demonstrating kindness, perseverance, and a positive attitude about learning. She is a role model in the classroom, always eager to help others and put forth her best effort in all she does."
Linda Meredith, known affectionately as "Nurse Meredith," was honored with the 🌟All-Star Staff Award🌟. Much more than a caregiver, she is a calm and compassionate presence who supports students, staff, and families with dedication and heart. Her impact is felt far beyond the clinic. Her simple, caring gestures bring comfort in moments of need, and her kindness and expertise make a lasting difference. As Principal Williams shared, "She reminds us every day that incredible truly happens here!"
Izzy Fry, a dedicated Special Education teacher, was also recognized with the 🌟All-Star Staff Award🌟. With empathy, patience, and belief in every child’s potential, she creates a safe, supportive classroom where students learn to thrive emotionally and academically. Principal Williams noted, "Through thoughtful strategies, personalized support, and consistent encouragement, Ms. Fry empowers students to regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and find success both in and out of the classroom."
Please join us in congratulating Aubree, Nurse Meredith, and Ms. Fry – three shining examples of the heart, dedication, and excellence that make Pauline Central such a special place to learn and grow!

It’s time to come together for a great cause! This week, Pauline Central is hosting our Canned Food Drive to support the BE FILLED Food Pantry.
We’re asking all families to send canned or non-perishable food items with your students. When they arrive at school, students can ask their teachers where to place the items.
Incentive Alert: The grade level that brings in the most items this week will earn a Popcorn & Movie Party!
Let’s show our community spirit and help stock the shelves at BE FILLED! Every item counts — thank you for your support!!
That’s a Wrap on Spirit Week!
What an amazing Spirit Week we had! From cozy Pajama Day to silly Wacky Hair Day, our students showed incredible creativity and school spirit all week long.
We loved seeing everyone twinning with their friends on Twin Day, and Stuffy Day was extra special with all the cuddly companions joining us in class. Wacky Hair Day brought some of the wildest, most colorful hairstyles ever, and Pajama Day was the perfect way to start the week feeling comfy and relaxed.
Thank you to all our students, teachers, and families for making this Spirit Week so much fun. We can’t wait to do it again next year! Keep showing that school spirit every day!
