The fun continues with Popcorn with the Principal. These Jaguars had their Roar Bucks drawn for being Responsible, Respectful and Safe at school! We are so proud of our PC Jaguars!

Students at Pauline Central Primary School welcomed a special guest reader today – Becky Pringle, President of the National Education Association. Ms. Pringle traveled from Washington, D.C. to Topeka to celebrate Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day.

Among her many school stops and engagements was meeting with second- and third-grade students at Pauline Central to share about Ruby Bridges and to read, "Ruby Bridges Goes to School." To help commemorate the day, each student left with their own copy of the book.

In 1960, six-year-old Ruby Bridges made history when she was escorted by federal Marshals to Williams Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans. Every year on November 14, Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day honors her legacy.

Picture Retake Day is coming to PC on Wednesday, November 20th! If your student was absent or needs retakes, please contact the office at 785-339-4700 to get on the list for retakes.

Pauline Central will be observing Thanksgiving Lunch on Thursday, November 21st and we would like for you to attend. However, we must have a reservation and ask that you pay in advance ith the registration envelope that will be coming/sent home. Please complete the information on the front of the envelope and include $4.50 for each adult guest. All children will eat free!! You do NOT need to include payment for students or any child. Due to the need to order enough food in advance, the reservation and payment MUST be received in the office ON or BEFORE Monday, November 11th. The tickets will be sent home on Wednesday, November 20th in an envelope with the student.
