Washburn University Athletics is excited to invite you to Youth Night empowered by Envista Credit Union, featuring Washburn Women’s and Men’s Basketball on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Lee Arena on the Washburn University campus.

This special afternoon is designed to celebrate youth in the Topeka community while providing an affordable and fun game day experience for families.

Youth Night Highlights Include:
-$5 admission when you mention Pauline Central at the ticket window (valid for children and accompanying parents)
-Giant inflatables and Pop-A-Shot with prizes
-Giveaways including tumblers, pennant flags, lanyards, and more
-Baby race at halftime of the women’s game (to register your little one for the baby race, visit Baby Race Registration)
-On-floor recognition for kids wearing Junior Bods Club T-shirts
-Postgame autographs with both the Washburn Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams

Our kindergarteners traveled around the world—without leaving school! 🌍✨ They learned how different cultures celebrate holidays, explored traditions, music, and symbols from around the globe, and discovered that while celebrations may look different, joy and kindness are shared everywhere. 🎄🕎🪔🎉

This is a friendly reminder about our afternoon dismissal procedures. To help keep traffic moving smoothly and prevent cars from backing up onto the road, we ask for your cooperation with the following process:

Please form two lines of traffic as you enter the dismissal area.

We will load 4–6 cars at a time.

The two lines will merge into one near the sidewalk so that all cars are positioned safely and closely for student loading.

Please be courteous and allow cars to merge when the two lines come together.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for all students and families. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. 🚘

The Washburn University Football Team will be hosting the 2025–26 Washburn Football Youth Series on December 16, 2025, and January 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility. This camp is open to children ages 5–12 and will focus on developing the basic skills and fundamentals of football. Participants will receive instruction on both offensive and defensive techniques from our coaching staff and current Washburn players. 🏈

Camp Details:

• Dates: December 16, 2025, and January 6, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Ages: 5–12
• Location: Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility
• Cost: $25 per camper per selected date
• Attire: Athletic clothing and cleats or tennis shoes
• What to Bring: Water bottle (hydration stations will be available)
