8th grade band just finished their Shawnee Heights competition, and got a Superior (1) rating from one judge, and an Excellent rating (2) from another. Overall score was 68, which was only ONE point away from a Superior which is the highest rating you can get.
Congrats to the WRMS Chess Team for winning 1st at the State Chess Tournament in the K-8 Division.

8th grade FCS classes partnered with Junior Achievement and K-State Research & Extension to explore real-world skills that will help them in the future. They learned about career pathways, employability skills, interview strategies and attire, and what it means to be truly future-ready.
