Dear Jay Shideler Families,

We are very excited to welcome you to a new school year! The dedicated staff members at Jay Shideler have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming school year, and we are thrilled to welcome you back! We strive to provide a supportive learning environment for each and every student and to educate students in a safe and caring community. We want every child to reach their full potential while showing dignity for those around them.

At Jay Shideler, we focus a student's academic, social emotional, and behavioral needs through a research-based comprehensive tiered approach known as Ci3T. We follow school-wide expectations in all areas of our building that follow the CARE acronym: Collaborate, Act Responsibly, Respect, and Empower. This acronym promotes the characteristics that we want all of our students to learn and practice as they grow older.
