Dear Families,

Welcome to a new school year! It is with great excitement that I welcome you and your child to our school community. Whether you are joining us for the first time in Pre-K or returning for another wonderful year, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school family.

At our school, we believe that the strongest foundation for student success is a partnership between home and school. We look forward to working together with our families to provide the very best educational experience for every child. By building strong relationships, maintaining open communication, and supporting one another, we can help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Creating a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment is one of our highest priorities. Our school-wide expectations are guided by the acronym SOAR, which encourages every student to:

• S – Safe: Make choices that keep yourself and others safe.
• O – Ownership: Take responsibility for your actions, learning, and behavior.
• A – Active Learner: Participate, stay engaged, and always do your best.
• R – Respect: Show kindness, courtesy, and respect for yourself, others, and our school.

When our students SOAR each day, they help create a school where everyone feels valued, supported, and ready to learn.

In addition to our SOAR expectations, we are committed to helping students develop strong character. Each month, our school will focus on a different character trait, providing opportunities for students to learn, practice, and celebrate qualities such as kindness, responsibility, perseverance, honesty, empathy, and teamwork. These lessons help students build the skills they need to become caring citizens and lifelong learners.
