Events

The Foundation hosts two signature fundraising events a year: a fall golf tournament and a spring breakfast. Proceeds from both events are used to support classroom grants, tech student scholarships, and greatest need opportunities.

Golf Tournament

The Foundation hosted its inaugural golf tournament in 2024, drawing more than 90 golfers and raising valuable funds to support Auburn-Washburn schools. This year's tournament will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka, Kansas. The event begins with lunch at 11:30 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 PM. Additional information, including a sponsorship pledge form, are available now.

Spring Breakfast

The spring breakfast is the Foundation's longest and most cherished tradition. It's a special event to celebrate the remarkable achievements in our school district and honor the individuals who make it possible. The hour-long event features musical performances, student and staff recognition, and a "State of the District" address by the Superintendent of Schools. Most importantly, the event highlights the lasting impact of classroom grants on teaching and learning.
