Registration
Registration and enrollment is a two-part process. Families must complete both steps—registration and enrollment—in order to attend school in the Auburn-Washburn district for the upcoming school year. The registration process varies slightly depending on your circumstances. Please visit the applicable links below for further clarification.
New Families
You reside in the district and do not have a student enrolled in grades K-12 in the district for the current/recently finished school year.
Returning Families
You have at least one student enrolled in grades K-12 in the district for the current/recently finished school year.
Out of District or Attendance Area
You reside outside the Auburn-Washburn district boundaries or desire for your student to attend school in another attendance area.
Washburn Rural High School
All students, including those attending WRHS, will need to register online. There are additional steps that students attending WRHS may need to take prior to the start of school. This includes having their pictures taken, purchasing a parking permit, or ordering a yearbook if desired. High school students may also need to meet with their counselor to make changes to their Fall Semester schedule (Counselors will be available to make Spring Semester schedule changes and discuss other issues at a later date).
Washburn Rural High School will communicate directly via email with parents who have registered with details about steps that need to be taken prior to the start of school.
Early Childhood
Auburn-Washburn offers a limited number of slots for children in our early childhood program who meet specific criteria. More information about this program is available on the Early Childhood page. Families who are interested, including those who are returning, will begin the process by completing Online Registration. If there are any questions, you can contact our Early Childhood Program at (785) 339-4675 or email us at earlychildhood@usd437.net.
