Principal Dr. Marcy Cassidy

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Farley Elementary School, home of the Farley Fox! Farley Elementary School opened its doors in August of 2009. Over the past few years, the staff and students have established annual traditions, such as the Farley Fox Trot and the Farley 5K, for the newest facility in the Auburn-Washburn School District. As a community, we boast over five hundred students in kindergarten through sixth grade. We are also proud to include a pre-school at Farley that serves approximately seventy-five students. From the first day of school to our Farley Fitness Day at the conclusion of the academic year, students, staff and parents have many opportunities to come together as a school family. Our PTO is wonderfully supportive and an integral part of the academic team at Farley. The Watch DOG program offers volunteer opportunities to our fathers and father figures to become a presence in the classrooms of our school as well. I encourage you to become an active participant in making Farley the premier elementary School in Topeka, Kansas!

The staff at Farley Elementary School is top notch. We are proud to announce that our school assessment data is phenomenal, often accomplishing the impressive honor of Standard of Excellence on the State Assessments in both of the core areas of reading and math in all grade levels. The hard work of the teachers and students as well as the tremendous support of the parents has contributed to this colossal accomplishment. The Auburn-Washburn School District offers a viable curriculum that is aligned directly to the standards prescribed by the state of Kansas, and the teachers at Farley adhere strictly to what is expected to be taught and provide learning in a creative, engaging and rigorous academic environment.

Congratulations! You are joining a fabulous learning community. I look forward to serving you and your students. Farley Elementary is earning a commendable reputation in the Topeka area, and I am thrilled that you have chosen to be a part of our fine community.

Sincerely,

Dr. Marcy Cassidy
