Topeka Zoo Summer Camps
Do you know a kid or teen who is wild about animals? Topeka Zoo is offering 8 week-long camps that are geared for children ages 6-12. There are also two three-week sessions geared toward students in 6th-12th grades.

2nd Annual Washburn Rural Golf Tournament
Entries must be received by Monday, May 27
All Star Baseball Camp
For grades 1-8. Camp will focus on fielding and throwing drills, hitting and bunting fundamentals, and base running.
Future Blues Softball Skills Camp
For students entering grades 3-9. The purpose of this camp is to continue to develop and improve the participants' techniques and fundamentals in the game of softball.
Girls Summer Basketball Camp
For girls entering grades 3-8. Emphasizes ball handling, shooting, and passing and will accommodate for different skill levels. Will also scrimmage and teach an understanding of basic offense.
Future Blues Tennis Camp
For grades K-8.
Champions Girls Soccer Camp
For girls entering grades 4-9. Drills and instruction over defense, offense, possession, shooting, dribbling, and other soccer essentials will be the focus of this clinic.
Middle School Football Camp
For incoming 7th-8th graders. June 24-27. Perform drills and learn the fundamentals and terminology.
Champions Boys Soccer Camp
For boys entering grades 4-9. Drills and instruction over defense, offense, possession, shooting, dribbling, and other soccer essentials will be the focus of this clinic.
Boys Youth Basketball Camp
Future Blues camp available for students in grades 1-8
Girls Summer High School Volleyball Camp
For Washburn Rural girls entering grades 9-12. Any girl interested in trying out for the 2024 volleyball team is strongly encouraged to attend this camp.
Girls Summer Volleyball Camp
For girls entering grades 3-8. Coaching staff will teach serving, setting, passing, hitting, blocking, and the basics of team offense and defense.

Near the beginning of each semester, the district may allow one paper flier from a non-profit organization to be sent home with students.
