Happy Administrative Assistant Day! 🌟

Today, we're taking a moment to celebrate the unsung heroes of our school- our administrative assistants! We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of Mrs. Kerri and Mrs. Judy!

These ladies go above and beyond every day to ensure that the PC office runs smoothly. From managing office logistics and being the point of contact for parents and visitors, these ladies do it all with patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude. We appreciate you!

Second-graders from Pauline Central attended the Farm to Table event at Domer Arena this past week! They traveled from station to station learning about how food gets from the farm to their dining room table. The water cycle, soil and irrigation, harvesting crops, and the role of farmers were some of the many topics explored. They also learned about processing wheat – the number one field crop in Kansas – into flour for use in things like pizza dough! 🌾

The internet offers a vast array of opportunities for learning, socializing, and entertainment, but it also presents numerous risks. Come learn more about how you can talk to your child about internet safety with Pauline South’s counselor, Susan Ross.

Pauline Central Kindergartners visited Auburn-Washburn's 50-acre Outdoor Environmental Laboratory for a fun and educational "Sprout Out” field trip.

As part of their curriculum, they:
🥾 Went on a nature hike
🌱 Learned stages of plants growing
👀 Using their 5 Senses
🍎 Made their own applesauce

Gifted to Auburn-Washburn in 1993 for the sole purpose of environmental education, the land features two mobile classrooms, ponds, nature trails, and open-air pavilions.
