Drawing is Fun

Who: Grades K-6
When: June 3-6, 8:30-11:30 AM
Where: Pauline Central

This class will explore the many aspects of drawing. The students will work with a variety of tools, techniques, and mediums. Students will experience contour drawing, gesture drawing, landscapes, still-life, and perspective. Both inside and outside activities are planned, weather permitting. All elements of art will be discussed. Lessons will be adapted to levels of ability and age.

Experiences with Clay

Who: Grades 2-6
Session 1: June 10-13, 8:30-11:30 AM
Session 2: June 17-20, 8:30-11:30 AM
Where: Pauline Central

This class will explore the various ways of "hand-building" with (air dry) clay. The students will explore the PINCH, SLAB, AND COIL methods of building with clay. The elements of art will be discussed and applied through the building of projects and idea sketches before working with the clay.

The 4th grade sponsored Family Game Night was a great success! We raised about $650 for Blake Finley, and the students had fun teaching their games to all who attended.

Family Food Night is at Jason's Deli TONIGHT, 4-9pm! Be sure to present your flyer at check-out!

School Spirit Day is this FRIDAY, March 29th! Be sure your kiddos show their school spirit! *Shirts must be AE spirit wear bought this year or a previous school year.*

Also, we are still looking for a few dads to volunteer to serve muffins and juice to all the moms at Muffins with Mom on May 1st from 7:50 to 8:30 so that ALL moms can enjoy this event! If you are able to be one of those AWESOME dads, please follow the sign-up link below and THANK YOU!!!!!!! 💙💛💙

A wonderful opportunity for a few dads to show their appreciation by serving muffins and juice so the moms that normally do it can enjoy this time with their child(ren). It's an easy and short event, so not a huge commitment.

What is Robotics Camp?

A camp for students wanting to learn about, build, and participate in robot competitions! Our major competitions will be SUMO, Capture the Flag, Dragster, Obstacle MAZE, and for those who really like a challenge, "King of the Hill"!

Who is Robotics Camp for?

Students who will be entering 5th through 8th grades for the 2019-2020 school year. Students attending robotics camp for a second or third time will be placed in advanced/enrichment groups dealing with new robotics concepts and challenges.

Session 1: June 3-6, 8:30-10:30 AM
Session 2: June 3-6, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Session 3: June 10-13, 8:30-10:30 AM
Session 4: June 10-13, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Students may enroll in more than one session. Each session costs $65.
