“Man, I don’t know how my Dad does it! This is awful.”

Kids really do keep us on our toes around here. 😂

Today we’re celebrating the amazing people who make up our Auburn Elementary PTO!

Because of our PTO, our Wildcats get extra opportunities, our teachers get extra support, and our school gets a little more WILDCAT magic! ✨

Thank you for your time, your ideas, your hard work, and everything you do to make Auburn Elementary such a special place.

💙💛 Fun Fact Wednesday! 💙💛

Sometimes the walls of Auburn Elementary hold a little piece of our history! 🐾

This Auburn Elementary flag was designed and created by an Auburn student, Andrea Boyles, back in 2003! 🎨💙💛

And here's the really cool part… we still use this flag today! It continues to make appearances in our parades and community events, more than 20 years after Andrea created it! 💙💛

What a fun reminder that our students leave their mark on Auburn Elementary in so many ways—and sometimes, their creations become a part of our school's history for years to come! 🥰

Thank you, Andrea, for creating a piece of Auburn history that we still get to proudly display today! 🐾💙💛

😂 KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS! 😂

One of our favorite parts of working at Auburn Elementary is the things our students come up with! You just never quite know what you’re going to hear when you walk through our hallways. 😂

Here are a few of our favorites from this week:

💬 “Do you get paid to just sit there all day? If so, how much?”
👢 “Do you have a horse?”
“No, but I have a dog.”
“Then why do you wear cowboy boots?” 🤠

💬 A kindergartner asked, “Why are you so tall?”
“That's just the way I am!”
“Yeah…but…WHY?” 😂

💬 Teacher: “Do you like breakfast, lunch, or dinner better?”
Student: “Hmmmm…dessert!” 🍰

💬 “I don’t want a husband because all they do is play video games.” 🎮😂

💬 “All guys do is eat Takis. Why not try a salad, bro?” 🥗🤣

We may not always know what’s coming next, but one thing is for sure… our Wildcats keep us laughing! 🐾💛
