Job Description

This position is for the new Auburn-Washburn Middle School that will be opening in the 2025-2026 school year.  

The principal provides instructional leadership in his/her building in the areas of:  curriculum planning, review, and implementation and professional development.  The principal is responsible for building administration and the safety and welfare of students and staff.

Qualifications

Certificates/Licenses/Endorsements/Registrations

  • Kansas teaching license required
  • Kansas administrative license required
  • Building-level endorsement required

Education and/or Experience

  • Five years of experience in teaching and/or administration required
  • Master’s degree or doctorate required

Salary to commensurate with education and experience.
