Job Description
To support and aid in smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.
SALARY: $9.75-$14.75/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 8 hours/day, 10.5 months/year (benefits-eligible)
START DATE: July 24, 2023
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
Qualifications
1. High school graduate or equivalent with the ability to speak clearly and articulately.
2. Demonstrate typing and word processing skills on district test battery.
3. Display willingness to learn basic office procedures and the operation of office equipment and machines.
4. Ability to learn and maintain clerical records and prepare reports from such records.
5. Type accurate at a reasonable rate of speed.
6. Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with parents, students, and teachers with an interest in and understanding of children.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as are determined to be appropriate and acceptable.
