Yearbook

Delivery

Yearbooks will be distributed at walk-in registration.

Graduates

Graduates can pick up yearbooks at walk-in registration as well. Consider asking a parent or sibling to retrieve your yearbook if you are unable to attend. You may also ask to have your book delivered to the main office by calling (785) 339-4100; requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to delivery.

Mailing

To have your yearbook mailed to you, contact the main office, (785) 339-4100, or send payment to:

Include your current address. Mailing costs $10 for postage and handling. Yearbooks are typically sent mid-August.

Yearbook Portraits

All students (seniors included) are encouraged to have a yearbook portrait taken for school publication purposes. Purchase of these photos is completely optional.

In order to appear in the yearbook, you must have a portrait taken either at walk-in registration or at one of the two retake days. Student ID photos are not used in the yearbook. You must have a yearbook portrait in order to be included in the people section of the yearbook.

Submit your color, vertical portraits to room G2342, or email digital copies to wrhsportraits@usd437.net (JPEG/JPG files only, minimum 300 DPI resolution), by the first Friday in December. Digital copies are encouraged. Please contact your photographers to ensure your photos are delivered by the deadline.

All portraits must follow Washburn Rural High School dress code policy, as defined in the Student Handbook.

The Chimes is a financially self-sufficient, student-run publication which is distributed to over 80% of the students and staff of Washburn Rural High School. Businesses and other supporters of the yearbook may choose from a number of sponsorship levels:
