"It Takes a Village"
KYEA sponsors a peer group for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Topeka who have any type of disability (learning, physical, sensory, mental health, etc.) The group is called FACES (Finding Abilities to Create Employment Success).

FACES is a peer group that allows youth to support and empower each other, all while learning to achieve employment success. The group will learn about such topics as finding abilities, interview skills, resume writing, communication skills, etc. Each participant will also be paired with an adult mentor working in their field of choice.

FACES gatherings will begin in February and continue through December. Gatherings will take place every second Thursday of each month at 4:30 PM at the KYEA office in Topeka.
