Library
The new library is almost complete. There are a few lights that need to be installed and a few minor tweaks.

Gymnasium
Excavation has begun on the gymnasium basement. Asphalt is being installed at the parking lot extension and at the west end of the student parking lot. Roof drains are being installed under the new slab areas as well as new sanitary lines.

Kitchen
The new kitchen is complete and is now in use.

Special Education Rooms
Masonry is complete. The overhead mechanical and electrical work is being finished and a few of teh sprinkler heads were relocated. Painting has begun.

Cafetorium
Curtains have been installed in the cafetorium area to help deaden the lunchroom noise.

Music Room
Retractable curtains will be installed in the new Music Room. The masonry is currently being worked on.

Gym/Locker Rooms
The wood floor of the current gym is being reviewed for damage. The new gym floor has been checked for levelness and installation of the wood floor will begin after any needed corrective measures are completed. The new locker room, coach's office, and shower areas are nearly complete.

The construction crew is continuing work on the office addition/cafeteria expansion. Once this is completed the current office will be remodeled into four new classrooms.

Teachers moved into the four new classrooms during the winter break and will finish out the year in these classrooms. There are still a few finishing touches being done on the building.

The new drawings for Auburn Elementary and Wanamaker Elementary are being finalized. At this time bids documents are scheduled to be presented to general contractors in January of 2010.
