61st & Wanamaker
Work on SW 61st Street began from a point 550' west of SW Wanamaker Road to the intersection of SW 61st and Wanamaker Road. Work will continue to progress to the east until all work on the project is complete. Scheduled completion date being August 16, 2010.

29th & Urish
The circle at 29th & Urish has been completed and is temporaily open for East, West, and North bound traffic. To get to Indian Hills Elementary traffic can take Indian Hills Road to 29th Street. To get to Farley Elementary, traffic can take 37th Street from Wanamaker Road and turn right on SW Nottingham Road. Currently Phase I is scheduled to last till August at which time Phase II (29th St from Mission View Dr. to Kingsrow Rd) will begin. The 29th St construction is a three phase project which is expected to end late in 2011.

Gymnasium
Backfilling the foundation wall is about 50% complete. The south end of the basement has dried out enough for work to begin on installing sanitary rough in for the locker rooms and basement toliets. The existing locker rooms have been gutted and the concrete slab has been removed to install the new sanitary lines. Most of the ramp out of the basement has been removed and the last few sections of the foundation wall is being formed.

Auditorium & Balcony
The sheet rock ceiling has been completed and painted. Scaffolding was removed on June 27th and the concrete floor was saw cut and removed for the balcony foundation installation.

West Office
The walls and hollow metal door frames have been painted. The ceiling grid was installed and the new light fixtures dropped into place.

Cafeteria
Demoliton of the existing north wall of the cafeteria has begun. The insulated duct has been installed. The block work for the addition has been completed.

Some roofing and metal cap flashing needs to be installed by the roofer and the sidelights to the classroom doors still need to be glazed.

The removal of topsoil and trees have begun for the Wanamaker school parking lot.
